Black History Month may be over but the celebration continues! Verizon Wireless is giving high school students the opportunity to spend the day with Amber Riley in New York City.

Visit their website to submit your 500 word essay on how you plan on making history. Five students will be selected to meet Amber. But that’s not all. Verizon Wireless is also giving away a 4G LTE smartphone every week and 5 lucky essay winners will also receive a 4G LTE tablet! Wow! Talk about making history!

When I saw Amber in that form fitting sapphire blue gown at the NAACP Image Awards, I knew she had lost weight! At first I was worried that perhaps the pressure of Hollywood was getting to her, but Amber is speaking to People about her new figure. In the interview posted on their website, Amber is quick to point out that she was ready to make a positive change for her health!
"I decided I was going to make a change and eat healthier". After seven months of sticking to a new diet and exercise plan, she has hit a weight loss milestone: "I dropped two dress sizes!" But no matter what size she's wearing, the actress has always been a body confident role model. "I've always been comfortable with my size," says Riley. "I just decided it was time to get healthy."

Tabu Ultra Lounge
With close friends by her side, Amber celebrated her birthday in style with a party at Tabu Ultra Lounge inside the MGM in Las Vegas. Glee cast attended the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan 15, 2012.
Amber was stunning in a floor length red gown by famed designer Badgley
Mischka. To complete the look Amber accessorised with Neil Lane jewels
and a dazzling Swarovski clutch.
